Science
Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

cantabb: "Some people thought fit to "ignore" it, some
fought a little but were sidetracked or felt overwhelmed, and
the backyard was soon overgrown with weeds."
showalter must never show his face around here again
without being pounced on immediately. I've been lurking for a
while now and see clearly how destructive his presence is.

Read a lot more Jorian319 - and interesting stuff.
But so far, nothing even remotely close to missile defense.

Jorian - so far - nothing by you on missile
defense - not even a whiff in the first 45 I've read - but
some interesting stuff, all the same.
Do you get any "whiff" of MD in your 14,000 posts here so
far ? Not to mention another 10,000 before ?
The only "whiff" I ever sensed from your "pile" of posts
reminds me of a "dumpster" NOT hauled away for a L-O-N-G time.
[NB: IF you 'reading' Jorian, or some one else's, posts
NOW, did you ever read them WHEN thewy were posted the first
time ? May be I should also add "reading, re-reading, and
re-re-reading" to your "Loop Test" list.]
