Science
Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

Kurdish WOMEN in the early Nineties LOST their HUSBANDS

killed on order of Saddam
On tangible statistical 'fact' of genocide on Iraqi people
he should be 'removed' ....
this people can understand
whereas looking for the negatives of biological-chemical
warfare doesn't add-up to a positive in the global popular
mindset

"The Bush administration, for all its faults - is
looking for solutions to problems that are real"
The problems created in a first place by whom?
Solutions to whoes benefit and at what cost and to be payed
by whom?
One thing is clear - if there is a war and occupation of
Iraq - the pandora box of solving the international problems
this way will be open to all having the power to do so. Today
its US. Tomorrow?

lchic,
If you care, I predict even more Kurds to be killed as
result of this war. And not by Saddam. Rather by Turkey and
US.

Rice plagiarism Iraq ....
"Iraq’s declaration," adds Ms. Rice, "even resorted to
unabashed plagiarism, with lengthy passages of United Nations
reports copied word-for-word, or edited to remove any
criticism of Iraq, and presented as original text."
