    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

USA government

isn't pro-active within it's own zone(s)

it doesn't put in blanket legislation to help citizens ..... rather ... those with greivances have to go individually to law ... to fight their good fight

Look at GUNS --- note USA turns a blind-eye to it's murder of 25,000 citizens each year

.... thinking of KOYOTA and international law ... is the USA proactive ... nope dope !

It steps back, moves sideways, shows NO leadership.

So why is it pro-active wrt Iraq

Anyone done a search on this almarst2002 clown.

People like this make you wonder who and the hell are these clowns and what and the hell are they trying to accomplish?

Go back to the 'bush forum' clown. That's exactly where you belong.

He's loonier than uhh, uhh, (well you fill in the blank)

Get lost clown.

And oh by the way yes we can search for new stories on the internet, thanks anyway.

And why and the hell is he bolding everything, you think that makes your slop important?
