Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

1441 "" ... Blix did not ask the security council for more
time for inspections, which – much to the annoyance of
Washington – leading council members such as France and
Germany have strongly advocated.
In his 60-day update, as required under UN resolution 1441,
Dr Blix said: "Iraq appears not to have come to a genuine
acceptance – not even today – of the disarmament which was
demanded of it and which it needs to carry out to win the
confidence of the world and to live in peace."
While conceding that Iraq had co-operated by allowing UN
weapons inspectors access to all sites, Dr Blix noted: "I'm
bound, however, to register some problems."

I don't care if you bring your wife, your shrink, ten
bodyguards, and an attack poodle. Bring anyone and any
recording device you like. That's fine.
But I am not going to go to Madison. You're the one who's
so hot on checking. So you take the time and expense to come
to Chicago. If you're serious about checking, thaat's
precisely what you should do. You're asking the accused to go
the extra mile, instead of you, the accuser.
Yes, I think you're paranoid and delusional. For good
reason. Go back and read the nutty posts you've written,
accusing people here of being high government officials and
claiming that your maundering ruminations are saving the lives
of a thousand people a day. Only a grandiose, paranoid,
delusional individual would entertain such lunacy. Sorry, I
think you're bright and probably could offer the world quite a
bit if you ever got your thoughts under better control.
Come on down to Chicago. Email me at
wcooper@21stcentury.net .
Bring whomever.

But in my case, not restored. How did you do get that link
to post, Cooper?
