Science
Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

9/21/02 9:35am - - processes in use, and coming into
focus, can get us to better answers.
The US has to change some things - - but "changing the
game" in the US, even if that were "perfectly done" from
everybody's point of view (just stating an unimaginable)
wouldn't be enough to solve problems that are before us to be
solved - involving safety and prosperity.
Other people, and other nations, will have to do
some "changing of the game" too. Their games, not just ours.
For example, if Russia and China wanted better human
accomodations in Iraq, N. Korea, and elsewhere - they could
act in ways to make that a lot more likely than it is now.
Without the US having to be any more accomodating than it is
now.
Will be back, after some chores.

Correcting back to an accepted NORM
If there was talk of 'correcting back' or 'correcting to a
norm' meaning complying with a given standard ... wouldn't be
better understood!!??!!

So, rather than have 'war', turn it around it's 'raw'
listen it's 'roar' watch it 'furore'
So rather than have 'war' with emotional charge it's a
move to 'correction' - a lesser complexion
