    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Can we do a better job of finding truth? YES. Click "rshow55" for some things Lchic and I have done and worked for on this thread.

Someday At Christmas by Stevie Wonder http://www.webfitz.com/lyrics/Lyrics/xmas/97xmas.html

Someday at Christmas,
Men won't be boys,
Playing with bombs,
Like kids play with toys.
One warm December,
Our hearts will see,
A world where men are free.

Someday at Christmas,
There'll be no wars,
When we have learned,
What Christmas is for.
When we have found,
What life's really worth,
There'll be peace on Earth.

Someday all our dreams will come to be,
Someday in a world, where men are free,
Maybe not in time for you and me,
But someday at Christmas time.

Someday at Christmas,
We'll see a land,
With no hungry children,
No empty hands.
One happy morning,
People will share,
A world where people care.

Someday at Christmas,
There'll be no tears,
Where all men are equal,
And no man has fears.
One shiney moment while on our way,
From our world today.

Someday all our dreams will come to be,
Someday in a world where men are free,
Maybe not in time for you and me,
But someday at Christmas time.

Someday at Christmas,
Men will not care,
Hate will be gone,
And love will prevail,
Someday a new world that we can start,
With hope in every heart.

Someday all are dreams will come to be,
Someday in a world where men are free,
Maybe not in time for you and me,
But someday at Christmas time.
Someday at Christmas time.

How far are we from "someday" right now - in terms of explicit problems, clearly set out and understood?

Maybe not so very far. The things that would have to be done to make things a lot better don't look so hard to me. There's been progress on some of them this year.

"You can't eat this, it's people, it's people"-B....."What about the cherry pie?"

Madam Valinkska says "God is currently on vacation and will not be available for comment till sometime in early January 2003."
I pressed her for his location and she mentioned Vail or Aspen. Hmmmm, you ski travelers in those areas should keep your eyes peeled. And Madam Valinkska said I was wrong about the sex, God is currently a woman, and is 'perky' looking.

Buck-off.
Exadurate? I don't think making up words is going to help us understand you, partner.

Partner? I don't think the spelling is a problem. I think you have to look much deeper.

Satellites to challenge Pentagon spin - http://www.msnbc.com/news/845811.asp?0cv=CB10&cp1=1

In my view, a very important development.
