Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

If you want a sense of how good the NYT Missile Defense thread is -- sample lchic's work ! - (search lchic, and lunarchick) - - . You'll find a wealth of thoughtful, wide-ranging citations.

I think she's the most valuable mind I've ever encountered.

Search lchic on other NYT threads and on the Guardian Talk threads, too. You'll be impressed.

I have watched you for 11 months now..You have done nothing for the discourse of this board. That is fine. Many an individual does not have an interest in NMD. I however do. I let you play because you are a plebe. I felt you would tire because you made no sense and others did not bother to counter you. Yet you still sit-squating if you will on this forum. It has been disclosed that you suffer from a mental illness and thus, the behavior you reflect.
