    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

Can we do a better job of finding truth? YES. Click "rshow55" for some things Lchic and I have done and worked for on this thread.

Lunarchick's recent postings deal with opportunities - and also problems.

We have time, and logical space, to resolve a great deal well and gracefully.

Even on subjects where thought and modifications can be hard - and even hard to think about.

Bill Casey made me learn many lessons. One was this.

If there is a subject where people are very reluctant to talk - there are problems somewhere near to that subject that may need to be adressed.

If there is a subject where people are very passionate when they talk - there are problems somewhere near to that subject may need to be adressed.

Often, on such subjects - simple insights or adjustments can make things easier, more comfortable, and more beautiful. Casey felt that that was true, anyway.

But he was a pirate in some ways -- I had reason to worry about several things, working with Casey. He was wrong sometimes. Or setting me up with the wrong lesson.

I don't trust such lessons. Though they are interesting lessons.

But this time, there is time to check some of the things those lessons may suggest.

Out for tonight.

Would it be correct to say that the 5 countries that hit the top 102 were formerly associated with Britain - and may have had frameworks established linked to uk.

Women hold up half the sky
Yet in Saudi they don't drive by

Seems that petrol's not in place
to sell to those with flair and grace
Women hold up half the sky
Don't drive - Don't drive - why!?
