    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Your 'corrected' post said as you say (above) - your inital post (later 'cut' by you) said as I say!

Bullsh!t. Showlater said he saved the posts. Ask him to check it. You'll see I never said I worked for RCN Chicago. I don't and never have. Are you faking it, or are you and your Madison buddy as crazy as you come across?

She's not faking it. I have the post - and for a reasonable person, the implication was very clear.

wrcooper - 07:49pm Aug 3, 2002 EST (#3468 of 3489)

Post it, then, you freaking head case. Show me what I wrote.

The key word is reasonable. That, you and your shadow aren't. You're both nutty as hell. CIA. Condaleeza Rice. Bill Clinton. CIA. Etc. You're delusional.

Get help. I beg you.

You are crazy. Let me repeat. You're certifiable.

Who's getting his knickers in a knot Cooper -- my my you're letting the serene image of those 'linesmen for the county' down ...

Loosing it Cooper is something that happens to folks who have much to hide and deny!

Just a reminder re my moniker - it's derived from Lunarchick ... as in living in my living in a timezone distinct from the USA - most often a day ahead. This being so, and the earth being round, it would be impossible for lchic to be a shadow wrt the USA :)

wrcooper 8/3/02 7:49pm asks "post it then." . . . The posting Lchic referred to included some other things - well written - and I can post them if anyone is interested. I'll include the writing on the point in dispute. The posting starts:

lchic 7/28/02 3:13pm concluded, reasonably, that Cooper worked there. She wrote . . . . "Look for a mug-shot of Cooper hanging in the main foyer. "

Cooper did correct lchic's impression quickly, in

Between 4 1/2 and 5 1/2 hours later, Cooper removed 22 postings. rshow55 7/29/02 9:34am

Lchic later commented : "Maybe Cooper pulled the post where he said he worked within RCN in Chicago - before later admitting he uses RCN services only! What a Whopper!" lchic 7/28/02 11:02pm

That seemed fair comment to me.

Showalter I have a reputation for being able to 'use' the internet. I've been using it.

mAzzA didn't ring you - did he? No?

One of mAzzA's problems is - he's a compilation-fiction - he just doesn't check out!

Of course you would have checked!
