    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

I'm busy making a list - ideation

On the left 'what's wrong with the USA' under major headers

On the right 'what's right .....

Next I'll have to figure out how to move the things that are wrong over to the right ....

but to do that I'll have to figure out how to 'mend' the wrongs

lchic - 01:09am Aug 1, 2002 EST (#3390 of 3404)

Showalter ... your not getting what you require to function - that something in writing from the CIA ... puts your quandry into the 'wrong' column. How long before this simple matter is fixed?

lchic - 01:17am Aug 1, 2002 EST (#3391 of 3404)

there was something 'wrong' with Australian ASIO ...

    they planted a bomb
    (killed civillians)
falsely pinned the blame on three men
    who served time
Ultimately ASIO was placed under the control of a minister - unchecked they were irresponsible

"" Many people, included policemen and army men, believe ASIO and Special Branch were the most likely to be responsible for the bombing. No one claimed responsibility for the bombing and the only ones to benefit were the security forces.

.. perhaps there's something 'wrong' with those shadow forces in the USA ?

The 'test' from the post above is simple

Who's gained what?

lchic - 01:24am Aug 1, 2002 EST (#3393 of 3404)

It could be that by not putting Showalter's request into writing

they have something to gain

the 'test question' is "what" ?!

I'm assuming that Mazza, Dirac, and wrcooper are Johnson......

Hey, what about (((ME)))?!?!? How come you left my name out of the AKA Kabal??? Just a little while ago you were SURE I was part of the Conspiracy of One ...... COME ON!!! ...... I could be George Johnson ...... I COULD!!! I want you to tell everyone you still suspect my deep involvement in the plot or......or...or I'LL SUE!!!

You can't snub me like this!!!

Camp X-ray lchic 8/1/02 1:33am must be an embarrassment.

Note the strategic tactic of following it with banal twaddle distractor.

Earth vs <^> <^> <^>

Talk about "banal twaddle", lchic!!! why don't you rattle on about your objections to "Missle Defense" instead of the plight of ragheads in an interrogation camp???
