    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

Didn’t you see the link to my exchange with him on it in “Science in the News” (May, 2003). He demonstrated his ignorance on this too. He didn’t think Letterman had a right to joke about NYT -- nO free speech for Letterman. But he’s your loyal follower.

Poor Canthorn ... confused as usual. I have a right to an opinion about Letterman and indeed about you too. Stop me why dont you. Don't just lie to save face .. cheap shots as usual.

PS1

So Letterman is Rshow's follower ... typo-man?

PS2

Robert, you do have the right to defend yourself. I'm pleased to see you did. Well done.

Showalter made an error in not believing his opponents were just as or more stubborn and determined as himself.....

If this is your idea of a job "well-done", I hope you never have to choose a defense attorney....

Can we do a better job of finding truth? YES. Click "rshow55" for some things Lchic and I have done and worked for on this thread.

Error ? Well maybe - I figured that eventually people would believe enough of my story that I could do the things that I was trained to do in the first place.

If you guys don't stop me - I may have a chance of doing the things I've been working on - solar energy and clean water, for example.

And some differential equations stuff.

Stubborn and determined foes can stop anyone.

But why would anyone try to stop inocuous little old me ?

And I still think that things would sort out better for NYT if they'd meet with me.

I'm signing off . Had a computer crash, and little sleep, last night.

lchic, where are you...?

More bleating from Barnyard-schoolyard freddie"Irregardless"moore:

Didn't you see the "Science in News" LINK I posted here on your ignorance of "freedom of speech," Anmerican (not-Veld)-style:

Here it is again to refresh your memory and for the "corpus" of your leader:

From Cantabb # 1489, May 16, 03, “Science in the News” http://forums.nytimes.com/webin/WebX?1@13.SLQxb6SGXCF.0@.f2e4e35/1657

This exchange continued, off and on, for 2 days.

You'll see freddie "irreegardless"moore's confusion on "Muster" vs "Mustard," and other things.

You started with "cheap shots" right from your very first post to me here, and you kept it up, with all kinds of barnyard juvenilia -- AND now, you have the audacity to call my reference to your "Science in the News" exchange "a cheap shot" ? What fredmoore "Hipocracy" !

So Letterman is Rshow's follower ... typo-man?

Same comprehension problem still ? Read my post again, and see the exchange for yourself !

Robert, you do have the right to defend yourself. I'm pleased to see you did. Well done.

And, he did WITHOUT his dedicated followers, you and lchic !

Did cows come home yet ?
