    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

Showalter continues to take NO responsibility of his tens of thousands of meaningless posts, filled with NOTHING on Missile Defense. The quoting , for the hundredth time, of Cantabb's first post has NOTHING to do with what Showalter purports to talk about....

Can we do a better job of finding truth? YES. Click "rshow55" for some things Lchic and I have done and worked for on this thread.

I didn't think they were meaningless. They certainly got a lot of response over time. http://www.mrshowalter.net/Sequential.htm

Now, if people like bluestar23 are actually NYT employees - that's interesting.

I have been reading some dozens of much earlier posts, which remind me of how many years Showalter has abused the posting privilege, and spammed the forum with thousands of meaningless links. He really single-handedly made it impossible to have a normal Forum discussion on Missile Defense since Day One....and right to this end refuses to apologize or acknowledge his abuse and misuse of the Missile Defense Forum...which is his personal disgraceful conduct...

No one I have seen on the NYT is as bad, as destructive, as foolish and stupid, or as bad for any Forum than the maniac cretin called Showalter...
