    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

Iraq - I was reading about it just a moment ago in The Australian!

Cantabb is going to ask 'where's the MD in that?'

Guardian - v - TimeGate

Which sounds more people friendly?

You tell Me ! Before THAT explain, coherently if you can, what's this "TimeGate." ?

the void would be calling... Let's do the time-warp again. Let's do the time-warp again. It's just a jump to the left. And then a step to the right.

Supposed to mean anything.

No wonder the thread is getting shut-down. Three-plus years too late, IMO. Any way, better late ... Thank you and rshow for making it all possible --- in about 8 weeks what wasn't achieved in the past 3 years !

Cantabb's .... In another dimension, | with voyeuristic intention, | Well secluded, | I see all.

"voyeuristic" ? What ?

Check your dictionary, World Asset. It may (may?) mean the same as it does here: [Start with "Voyeur": one with an excessive interest in watching sexual objects/activities to get some sexual gratification: a peeping Tom]

With a bit of a mind flip | He's into the time slip. | And nothing can ever be the same. | He's spaced out on sensation. | LIKE Camtabb' s UNDER SEDATION | .... do the time-warp again. Let's do the time-warp again.

I hope it makes sense to at least YOU.

You confirm why this thread should have been put out of its misery LONG time ago. Even with Kate's announcement 10-12 days ago.
