    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

that is most certainly true.....I'm surprised rshow55 isn't making full use of these last hours.....there is no more time to "rest" or "nap" or "eat lunch"....

I once knew a nun - from the 'sisters of the unkown womb'.

As far as I know none of the nuns are coming to the picnic.

Though of course they are invited.

We will have some biblical readings from 'bennie hill' and then a short devotional program. Drinking beverages will commence after that with hot dog grilling commencing at the same time.

But he's resting up for the BIG PUSH, well co-ordinated with lchic's time difference (16 hours ?).

"the future 'history'"

But don't astrologers and card readers claim to understand all of humanity's time on this earth...and claim to "understand" by some "system" the totality of human experience....

And, congrats, you did it better than I've seen before.

Eg...if I ask an Astrologer why Napoleon met Josephine, I will be told it was because of the interaction of two or more heavenly bodies...
