    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Maybe one day women, whose apparent "concern" is no "date" tonight, might realize that the "Draft" in any country is the greatest example of truly terrible Gender Discrimination of all time....

"" The most pernicious use of propaganda is to de-humanise the enemy, depicting them as evil, criminal and often sub-human figures that pose a threat to survival, in order to make their 'destruction' or 'elimination' more acceptable.

De-humanising strategies are often subtly employed by propagandists in anticipation of a war or attack on the enemy, as in the case of the anti-Semitic propaganda disseminated by the Nazis in the build up to the Second World War.

Governments may call upon the most extreme de-humanising representations towards the end of a conflict to encourage its people to remain committed to the struggle. Such campaigns ensure that the enemy is taken seriously, but may backfire, for example if the negative propaganda is discredited, then similar stories may not be believed, even when they are true.
