Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

I knew right from my first debate with His Ignorance (HI) in "Science in the News" forum on Freedom of expression, American style ! STILL available for review on that forum.

He never learned.

Cantathink, there is NO hurt in opposing TYRANTS .... it is a DUTY ... as long as it doesn't take up too much time and I can have a bit of FUN. I wouldn't want it to be a full-time preoccupation like the never ending RShow crusade is for you .... now would I? Thought of doing some reading for comprehension courses?? It might cut some of the time you waste on these forums. Don't get me wrong now, don't stop posting.
