    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

More veld-juvenilia.

Cantabb & Sanford, (Sanford and son?)

You two toilet bowl nasties come on with the cause of righting the wrong of abuse of the MD forum. You post with bad manners and total lack of creativity, culture or color like some KKK revivalists or AA recidivists looking for a crutch by denying free speech to anyone but yourselves. Neither of you have the comprehension needed to realise your own abuses on this forum, in order to feel the SHAME that ought to go with those abuses. Frankly I am amazed that your defamatory posts have not been deleted. I have seen less defamatory posts deleted on other threads.

This from a shameless perpetrator of "bad manners" and much more, right from his very first post to me.

About as creative as parrot.

Are they ever going to let you out of the barn. May be just feel at home there.

Your references to KKK: You know what the hell you're alluding to ? Your continued ignorance, no excuse.

More raving and ranting ......

Hint ... this forum has been pronounced closed ... you have won, yet you still post your vituperative rubbish. Doesn't that tell everyone on this board that you two have an obsession and not a cause? You two phoneys are exposed . You get your kicks here. And isn't it true (if you have any honesty at all) that you are overshadowed and overlooked in your own lives because of your obvious ill tempers, nit picking and other shortcomings. Your lack of self esteem stops either of you from admitting YOU have a problem and trying to do something to change things for the better. This forum closes on the 14th so you can't get your cheap hits here any more .......

Must be still hurting !

you both know my cause as outlined in post #15939. If you two ever get over youselves, I am happy to discuss the benefits of a KAEP and how you two fit into not just the US, but the overall global picture where there are 6 billion highly intelligent and competitive people ... just about everyone of which is fundimentally more talented and deserving than either of you.

Same one-trick pony from a veld-barn ?

"I am happy to discuss the benefits of a KAEP"

Who cares..? You can be willing to discuss the benefits of eating a Big Mac.....my suggestion, if you are serious, is to go to the GuardianTalk, or Liberty Forum, where you can start your own threads....just go and start one on this KAEP...and you will soon be able to see how many other people are willing to discuss this with you...your Personal Hobbyhorse is useless here at NYT...you can't start your own thread here...

"there are 6 billion highly intelligent and competitive people ... just about everyone of which is fundimentally more talented and deserving than either of you."

Are you really stupid enough to think that Every Single Person On Earth is equally "highly intelligent and competitive"...????

fredmoore, for instance, isn't, so now the numbers are down in the five billions somewhere....

bluestar23 - 01:20pm Nov 9, 2003 EST (# 17003 of 17017)

"Just crossed 17,000 posts."

And Thank Christ it wasn't one of Showalter's posts that did it...

cantabb - 01:23pm Nov 9, 2003 EST (# 17004 of 17017)

How can you exclude him, bluestar, when he had disqualified himself sometime ago.
