    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

and to lchic - 07:54pm Nov 8, 2003 EST (# 16964 of 169634) interrupted only by 1 post from Jorian (16961).

Another string of about 20 posts on everything under the sun, including a little on MD. Link-machine is working over time today.

She has still NOT provided any information on who's she working for, and what interests is she representing here so blindly and loyally.

With her overt bias and gross disregard of objectivity and balance -- qualities she seems to share with her leader -- it's difficult to take her link-machine and her comments and criticism seriously or attach much of any credibility them.
