    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

Showalter is brilliant - knows a lot about a lot

and the lots he doesn't know about he's intrested in finding out

"Showalter is very great intellectual. America be proud!"

Says his collaborator, lchic, a beautiful "World Asset" according to rshow55 !

Nice and cosy mutual admiration club ! Mutually and self-enforcing 'Loop Tests' !

To endure without complaint: We had to put up with the inconvenience

Threaders have to put up with embe^^ded hacks when posting on NYT web forum [Yes / No] [True / False]

Threaders have been fed a lot of conspiracy theories, involving almost one who questioned rshow or you ? They already had to "put up with" a lot of "embe^^ded" people ("hacks" and 'non-hacks).

Check a list of Forum regulars who were at one time or another Clinton (later, his stand-in), Putin (later, his Stand-in), Powell, Rumsfeld, Rice (or someone very close to them), Coulter, Johnson, the list goes on and on and on..... And many questioning posters were also NYT employees?

This MUST be part of the "Corpus" !

We know more than we need to know about rshow, but what about you ? What's there to hide about your employers and where I can send the "Corpus" to?

You've been demanding this of several poster -- BUT have NOT yet disclosed anything ?

May be you should also start looking for whatever you mean by "statistical" information on osters and word frequency (and other unique investigatorial techniques) -- something you and rtshow have been doing for the past 3 years.

Just ad hominems !

The NYT isn't 'shutting Bob Showalter down' The NYT is shutting down the MD thread

Isn't it (and hasn't it been) one & the same, the official rshow spokesman ?

as you hacks joked back awhile

"hacks" ? And what does that make you & rshow ?

MD is a bit of a con on the US people

And, you both did most to exploit it. But the end is nigh....

lchic - 04:20pm Nov 8, 2003 EST (# 16925 of 16925)

Interestingly the MD thread was 'kept' when the Science Board was re-vamped the last time.

Yes, but NOW, the REST are KEPT, and MD is singled out -- Thanks to you and rshow !

To make a display or the appearance of: put up a bluff.

(The dictionary even caters for Hacks)
