    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

Hint - Cantabb your work on MD is so so boring .... everyone put you on IGNORE way back ...

IF SO, how come you've been responding to me ?

Didn't YOU have me "on" your "ignore" ? It was more on-again-off-again hide-and-seek then, right ? Curiosity ?

If "everyone" has me on "ignore," why is your esteemed leader, rshow55 responding to me. Even some of those who had once grouped me with lchic/rshow on their "Ignore" have just undid that -- a 'timely' action.

The tide has turned in case you were too busy posting supposedly MD-relevant stuff this late in the game. Seen the light, eh ?

Question --- if Showalter sent you a disc of this thread, would you include it in your CD when looking for your next employ?

If no - that's understandable!

Sure, I'd display it prominently -- with contact information on rshow !

The question, however, is: Can HE find something productive to do, armed with THE CORPUS ?

One more thing: If he sends it to me, I'd certainly send a copy to YOUR employers-- IF only I knew who to send to and where ?

What's there to hide, lchic ? You don't want to tell us who planted you here and sees to it that you keep posting what you call "MD-related" stuff [see your recent postings and my response).

Be brave, Commandant ! Practice what you preach/order ! Put up or shut up, Commandant !

ultimately TRUTH outs : TRUTH has to be morally forcing : build on TRUTH it's a strong foundation

Put up YOUR OWN MD POSTINGS - for 'The Board' to discuss!

This late in the game ?

Where's your S-P-A-M ?

Suddenly got religion, eh ? T he end is nigh........

Shall I post on MD, as defined and understood by lchic and her most-intellingent leader with a new ward-robe ?

btw, Did you ever have anything when I and a couple other people (Bluestar & a couple of others) were discussing MD-stuff on MD-links ?

Not the same MD, as you understand it to be, right ?

cantabb - 03:54pm Nov 8, 2003 EST (# 16914 of 16986)

"Showalter is very sane and a great intellectual. America be proud!"

Say this too many times, in hearing of psychiatrists, who have seen rshow's posts, and YOU will be the one carefully shown nice seat in the car to "Riverview" or some such institution....
