Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Wee an entity such as NYT to ask 'What business are we in?' It is basically in the business of reporting on people in relation to the Maslow bandings. The basics are often left to the local zone to cover .... hence foodbanks, emergency shelters, and homelessness .... don't get much coverage - except as comment at the political strategy level. And yet - real-estate information-exchange is a cash-cow.

Any relevance at all to MD ?
