Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Yep, that's what WRCooper was trying to do after months of playing an entirely different game. That's what I was telling him; that and his ill-concealed intellectual snobbery based on: exactly Nothing. Or to his mind: based on (what he doesn't understand) is an anti-intellectual argument in the first place. To base one's whole thinking about the multi-layered and complex MD to just one argument....that WRC knows, magically, that any old countermeasure anyone happens to dream up will instantly and totally defeat any known Missile Defense. That's his idea of being an intellectual. One can see that people like WRCooper were always really part of the problem on this Forum; and not a solution to anything.

NOW, he's going to put YOU back on his "ignore" list. That'll teach you -- for being so disrespectful of those who say they know everything !

Cantabb: Look at it this way...every second, every minute, brings us closer to seeing the end of the utterly ridiculous lchic and her mentally-ill "partner" Showalter....they can strut their insanity and yell and scream all they want, but the end is near...
