    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Cantabb ... you've been posting NYT threads for years ... and yet ... it was only on 17th Sept 2003, around the time that Colin Powell visited the NYT to demand of media more 'good news' that you came and sat on this thread - in a non-contributory manner, with no interest in the subject matter of the thread - whatsoever!

I don't post on several other forums, either ! SO ? And, what's that got to do with Colin Powell ?

You think ALL your and rshow's stuff here for the past 3 years, including personal matters, and endless repetitions, have ALL contributed anything remotely to this Forum on MD ? This was part of the questions I raised on Sept 17, after watching the thread for some time.

You not ONLY continue to ignore the extensive abuse of this thread by you and rshow but you also want to continue this abuse (and resent seeing it shut down because of this continued abuse), as you and rshow continue to harass posters including me for their "affiliation," and then have the audacity to accuse those who want to bring it back into focus and ask questions about the outrageous claims made here by rshow and you.

You also forget the continual barrage of criticism from about half a dozen regulars right from the very beginning, and my response to their posts -- that you probably consider supposedly "contributing" to the purpose of this thread.

The gross forum abuse I had pointed out even elicited an admission from your esteemed leader rshow55 that: Only about 20% of the posts here (his very generous estimate) could have been on MD, on-topic -- the rest could have been easily barred.

Before my very first post here 6 weeks ago, you and rshow have been holding court along with a group of regulars for about 3 years. You obviously don't recall my on-topic posts amid all the response I got.

While you continue to harass posters about their "affiliation," you never provided YOURS. Again, what's YOUR affiliation (employer) and your motives and interests vested in this thread ?

We know "ultimately TRUTH outs," BUT when is this "truth" going to be let out ?
