    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

All it tells me is that you can search and post. Nothing more.

Filibuster: In legislative practice, the parliamentary tactic used in the United States Senate by a minority of the senators—sometimes even a single senator—to delay or prevent parliamentary action by talking so long that the majority either grants concessions or withdraws the bill. .....-the-clock sessions to tire the minority are measures used to defeat a filibuster. Encyclopaedia Britannica.

You may search and post-- like your leaders here. BUT do you understand what you post is an entirely different question -- still beyond you, as you demonstrate once again. Given my exchanges with you here and before thos "Science in the News," I am not surprised.

it's good enough for the US Senate then ..... it ought to be good enough for Cantathinkofanythingofhisown.

Filibuster tends to stop the proceeding. NOT here. What any one posts here does NOT stop anyone else from posting whatever he/she likes. My criticism of you and your leaders (rshow55 & "World Asset") did NOT prevent any of you from posting, did it ?

Filibustering can be legitimately defeated of course, but the intent to defeat ought not eliminate the recourse to FILIBUSTERING itself. Filibustering remains a great tradition in US politics and on forums such as this.

Your veld-view ! Ignorance about US shows, just as your over hostility.

Still hurting in the barnyard, eh ?

"YOUR Ignorance about US shows -- just as your overt hostility." the penultimate sence in my last post.

ultimately TRUTH outs : TRUTH has to be morally forcing : build on TRUTH it's a strong foundation

As Mrs Worthington's daughter was to stages ...

so too Canttab Jorian and Blue to pages
Fredmore enters stage right ...
he's getting sentimental over Blue ...
It ain't over 'til it's over

Whoops there goes another Missle D plant

As one forum closes

    ANOTHER ...... opening, another show
J - send a team across to 'Science in the News' to stop the makeover!
