    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

ultimately TRUTH outs : TRUTH has to be morally forcing : build on TRUTH it's a strong foundation

Despite all that growth in the third quarter, the number of jobs actually fell. Krugman

----

Bush has to create jobs.

Globalism sees flow of 'jobs' go to India (IT) and China (Manuf).

The 'advanced world' has to 'advance' and create new jobs.

----

The Red-scheme of military complex ... red as a ref. to the C20 RU ... employs folks .... but in order to maintain the raison d'être .... the US has to go outside it's boundary and look for fights ... 72 fights since the end of WWII.

It's interesting that the supposed military historian here hasn't noticed that employment within the military complex is RED-scheme (Communistic style) employment.

If he were a real military historian ... he'd be pointing that out.

-----

The world is getting tired of being both bullied around and attacked by the US ...

Raises the question how will the US employ those falling out of the RED-Scheme when the world moves for peace.

-----

A true capitalist economy has to continually move towards the production of valued/useful goods and services that fit it's evolving culture.

-----

Had the USA vision, then it would be determining where the economy is, and where it should go.

It would look to developing the 'right new industries' and jettisoning redundant.

-----

Bluey asked -- why was i on the board - without explain his presence.

The board is here for those with opinions - 6 billion out there!

------

The perceived need for MD realtes to 'mind-failures', to communication failures, to separate-ness.

As the world moves and knits together ... the need for MD will lesson.

--------

A question 'the average reader' might ask when reviewing this board is why so much hostility towards opinions that look for an improved future for the World, for the USA, and for the NYT ....

anyone done a street survey in downtown blinggablongga wrt the NYT .... has anyone heard of it, is it effective in changing world opinions ....

It is certainly used as a standard and a reference by those reaching out to blinggablongga ... so indirectly a strong, positive and futuristic NYT is a genuine World Asset ...

Don't check the map for blinggablongga

Lyric (RollStones)

"" But if you try sometimes well you just might find

You get what you need . . . ""

Showalter knows what he needs ... he needs to be allowed to function and follow through with his life's work.

The advanced world needs to understand the demand cycle of needs ... in relation to diminishing demands ... and shake out redundancy.

The NYT has to be aware of the fox creeping up on it now hiding under the wings of Pegasus. Rupert wants an equivalent paper to the NYT and has the 'demonstrated ability' to put one there ....

What will the world be like in 2020, what should it be like?

What will the world be like in 2030, what should it be like?

What will the world be like in 2040, what should it be like?

What responsibility does the present generation of power-brokers have towards making provision for the younger generation down their track.

Take time to talk about the price of eggs, the price of land, the price of fuel, the price of power, the price of .....

Take time to think about the future provision of food, shelter, clothing, communications, jobs, and income flows ...

Consider 'redundancy' in all it's forms and forces ... redundancy is suddenly falling out of the race (He she it TheEntity) thought they were winning.

Blue 95% of the claims re MD are falsified.

1 post in 20 on this board should related to MD

19 posts to the expansion of wholistic understanding relating to the working of the mind wrt the mind itself, political spheres, cultural spheres, educational spheres, information spheres .... etc., all of which in turn enable an improved appreciation of MD.
