    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Can we do a better job of finding truth? YES. Click "rshow55" for some things Lchic and I have done and worked for on this thread.

Here's part of an undelivered speech by Franklin D. Roosevelt, written shortly before his death:

" Today, we are faced with the pre-eminent fact that, if civilization is to survive, we must cultivate the science of human relationships --- the ability of all peoples, of all kinds, to live together and work together in the same world, at peace."

Here's my opinion:

The science of human relationships could be substantially advanced - if we sort this out.

If you have a complicated mess - if the facts that actually matter for a decision are clarified - a lot can be sorted out - and quite often well enough that good solutions are possible. ..... That change, if it happened in my particular case on a few key facts - would permit me and the NYT to sort out every problem we have between us that actually matters in a way that would be win-win - and for both of us.

EVEN on your own personal matter, you don't seem to have the "facts" [the so-called "dots"}. So, forget about those on MD, never really your direct concern !

Maybe these links are windy, but I tried to make them clear....... That's a technical issue - and if I could get "out of jail" I think I could show it in a way that would be to the advantage of the NYT - and the whole world - and with much lower costs to the NYT in every respect I can think of than the costs the organization is paying already.

What has your personal situation in or "out of jail" got to do with anything on this thread or with NYT ? What still-unspecified "advantage" you could be for NYT or anyone, except for youself -- if you can ever focus, that is.

Negotation links from the Missile Defense thread between 5:05 pm and 10:45 pm - October 23, 2003. Set out a simple approach - all I asked was some explanations that NYT knows very well how to give - to things NYT actually knows, or could find out - on a sheet of paper. ..........

In ~ 40 links you posted, NOTHING you said was left standing with any hint of credibility.

Obsessed with just reposting the same links over and over again, all you show is you can "Save," "file" and "retrieve" to spam-post it. NOTHING more, I'm afraid !

"Sort" what out ? 'Science of humasn relationships' ? You might as well include 'meaning of life' too.

With numerous reposted links and such cliched-naviete, you keep yourself far, far OFF-topic, a continued abuse of your posting privilege.
