Science
Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

"I'm out till tomorrow"
Make it permanent , baby, just shoot yourself and do us all
a favour....
Of course, we could all just easily start a new thread on
the GuardianTalk on Missile Defense, and move there...but then
Showalter would have won, and there's no guarantee he won't
follow around the Web...

truth? YES. Click "rshow55" for some things Lchic and I have
done and worked for on this thread.
Don't feel at all like shooting myself. There's some
comfort in doing my duty . . . and getting a rise out of
people who plainly are not doing theirs.
Kristoff spoke of Troy today. . . .

But Cassandra's curse was one of the most

On the eve of a new war, the remarkably
preserved citadel at Troy is an intriguing spot to seek
lessons from history.

I did some collection and summary postings
today, that summarize my postings here in a more condensed,
coherent form.
Re-hash of a re-hash of the same slop.

1. He drags you too out there: check his link above.
2. Wonder if WRCooper interpreted your remarks correctly in
his post, # 15423.
3. Top of WRC's list of 'Crazies" would be WRC
himself for: his admitted "addiction" to MD and NYT forums;
years of his discussions with rshow55; repeated requests for a
face-to-face with him; meeting with him; bitterly regretting
it later on the forum; wishing the 'weeds' would disappear if
he just 'Ignored' them & his gratuitous advice to others;
his continued tirade and whining about others.
