    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

I'm NOT going to ask: Why can't you follow your own repeated recommendations ? To "ignore" Cantabb !

Apparently you can't !

Long on the short of it ... Short on the long of it That's Cantabb for you!

Telegraphic and faux-Zen. With NO substance of any kind -- as usual.

"ultimately TRUTH outs : TRUTH has to be morally forcing : build on TRUTH it's a strong foundation": Think about it, IF you can !

Cantabb - North Korea is a negotiation problem ...

Gaming theory, a focus of the film 'A beautiful mind' re Nash and his work for the USA Government, is dismissed by you -

Really ? How did you divine this ? Perhaps the same way you do other things.

Showalter states the Nash Theory needs further refinement - for use in diplomatic negotiations

Let Showalter speak for himself !

"Showalter states" a lot of things ! YOU might want to accept that as your gospel "TRUTH." What else is new ?

And "Showalter states" same things ad infintum (his "loop test") : That's propagandism -- NOT the "TRUTH" !

What does Cantabb know - that others don't?

That, you don't WANT to know. Turn on your "IGNORE" !

This was a comment on you - no third party

SO .........? You got my response, didn't you ?

Truth is unique to each reader of a page, their coming to it with a unique backgound.

That eye of the beholder thing, right ?

YOUR "truth" is not THE "truth" !

Emperor's Clothes V Reagan Start of Star Wars ... I made a valid point ... Tax Payer Pays for wastage.

Hardly !

Think of YOUR 'emperor' !

15259 - prejudging the opinions of others - where are your facts Cantabb?

Comments by ME (as by others) are on the opinions EXPRESSED here ! Not baseless speculations (eg: Poster IDs) or baseless claims (eg: saving lives, world peace, etc).

What's there to 'PRE-judge' ?

And where are Cantabb's subject matter contributions to the thread re MD START END no substance!

STILL busy trying to respond to comments like yours ! Still trying to find out: What do YOU think you and your 'leader' have been doing here, and what do you think you and your 'leader' have accomplished -- ANYTHING at all, let alone on-topic ! Does your 'leader'/emperor have any clothes on ?

What happened to the "Ignore" function ? Any new subliminal messages from wrcooper !

Pretty raw nerve !

[to WRC]:

You [WRC] still do not see .................geddit...????

He ain't gonna "geddit" !

Recommends one-size SHOULD fit ALL. Rather, gratuitously, repeatedly ...... Thinks repeating things makes them true [like rshow55 ? Ummm !] .
