Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

"in the end : truth has to be morally forcing : build on
truth it's a stong foundation"
"Morally forcing" is ridiculous wording...it means nothing.
Can't you at least re-visit your "personal preferences" and
figure out how to spell "strong"....it has an "r" in it, you
know...

Other nations may be given cash from the USA to research
the matter.
Can someone post a detailed breakdown regarding defense
expenditure please.

truth? YES. Click "rshow55" for some things Lchic and I have

Apparently we say that Israel's nukes are not a "threat" -
and that's an interesting word.

Lunarchick (Dawn Riley) - searched the dictionary of
military terms http://www.dtic.mil/doctrine/jel/doddict/
under threat , and got 36 entries. Each a
http citation, not a clear definiton.
Anybody who thinks we and the Russians communicate clearly,
or can predict each other SHOULD LOOK AT THIS and THINK ABOUT
IT .........
This is the situation after nearly half a century of
negotiation - gross ambiguity, inconventiently packaged,
concerning a key word
I hope that, because of increased communication - things
are somewhat better now.

Statistically there's an extremely high probablilty that
these three monikers are 'the same' poster.

That detailed breakdown on defense expenditure seems to be
a 'no show' ... it's tax money ... how so?

Showalter - some time back - you asked for an indication
from your former employer (the USA government) that you were
employed by them.
And you're still waiting?
I've been watching the way the US works ... it's called
'the leak system' ...
I'm watching for your name to come up
:)
