Science
Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

[to WRCooper] Yes, it does ["to fight
Showalter"]...it might keep people like Showalter from
continuing to perpetrate his scandalous
behaviour....Showalter is committing daily crimes of every
sort against the Forum.....your position is like that of one
who will not catch the burglar who is robbing your house..
See my response to WRCooper above !
Too laid-back to catch "the burglar who is
robbing your house" ? :)
SO, expecting someone to call the cops when
a neighbors or friends house is being burglarized -- totally
out of the question ? Chilling, even as an idle thought !
FIRST, know what "obsession" really means to help you find
an appropriate example. Second, at least correctly SHOW who
said what to whom ? Your quote mixed it all up.
You have NOT done either ! You've NOT even bothered to sort
out the quotes ! You seem to have let your attitude toward me
keep clouding your logic and judgment!
YOUR example of "obsession" : A brief exchange between a
poster who has been here for the past 20 days and another who
came just a day or so ago.
And NOT rshow & lchic who have been here for 2+ years
and consumed lot of Forum space for thousands of non-topic
posts? Or any one else, including you ?
There is a better way ... POST ON TOPIC.
TELL rshow55 & lchic, FIRST -- the worst
offenders. And then others, including you, who have
participated in exchanges with the duo MUCH more often than me
or Klsanford !
Had you seen things clearly and well, you'd have noticed
that, in the past 20 days, I've been responding to posts
directed to ME or to comments about ME -- starting with your
juvenile personal attacks.
What happened to your KAEP link to MD (as defined in the
forum header). Other than your lame attempts at poetry, and
your exchanges with rshow55 & lchic, what else do you
think you have posted here that conformed to your recent
interest in the Forum header -- BEFORE my reminder 20 days ago
??

RU 2002 - 100 missiles overhauled (life to 2014)
Satan missiles are land-based, allowing several to be
launched simultaneously from the same place, thus increasing
their chance of evading a defence system.
Their prolonged existence is a significant issue in
Washington, which is at pains to justify and expedite the
creation of a missile defence shield http://www.guardian.co.uk/russia/article/0,2763,777379,00.html

He (Arnie) then added, creepily: "I was always fascinated
by people in control of other people." http://www.ergogenics.org/arnold4.html
Reagan's films famously inspired his administrations'
policies. There has been widespread speculation that senile
Reagan got his idea for a nuclear missile defence shield from
a 1950s B-movie he starred in. What would President
Schwarzenegger do? Send robotic Terminators into Afghanistan
to police the streets of LA? Have California's kindergartens
manned by six-foot undercover cops who win the hearts of the
aggravating little brats?
