Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

time to upt productivity guys! 2hrs 40 left ... now really

Where's Rshow55 when you really need him to 'honor' lchic's
request ?

108 on MD .. in the same time period Science
in the News had 13, and Environment had 8
You guys can count ! As well as Search, Save/File, &
Post (& re-post, automatically). Good.
Now let's work on Step 1 (skipped): Tell us What specically
are you & Rshow working on, and Step 1a.: What have you
really achieved re MD (Dumping on everything/anything American
is NOT MD).
Hints you may find helpful: Get "facts" relevant to MD
[everything under the sun, NOT relevant on MD and everywhere
else), Read (on MD science/related issues), See if you can
'verify' the findings, Understand what you Save/file, Analyze
(NOT rationalize), Sort {for MD; everything under the sun is
NOT MD); Post (on MD)
A concentration of 'effort' on MD board to
dross-out certain golden postings perhaps :)
You mean DON'T ASK questions of Rshow ? Or ask him to
explain his "golden postings" ?
"It got understood and exposed."

Bush-whacked by White House follies
October 08, 2003
You'll recall how the US responded to
al-Qa'ida's destruction of the World Trade Centre twin
towers. It mounted a full-scale attack on a neighbouring and
more important New York landmark: the UN building on the
East River. ....... So who to blame for the mess? No problem
– let's blame the UN. Which was right about the war in the
first place.
Any hint of relevance to MD ?

Commentaries
Once, at around 10,000 posts, I set about trying to count
the amount of Robert and LChic's posts. I set up a spread
sheet and was going to import the thread. Then it would be a
simple matter of using the @count function. In the time it
took to set up this mechanism, Robert had posted 8
meaningless, self referencing links and LChic had responded
with putrid poetry and pusillanimous punditry! None of the
posts were on point and I went away for several days!!!
Nothing changes in the wonderful world of Showalters. Good
ol' Buck lead the Texas Rangers to a dismal season but his
performance is light years ahead of good ol' Robert.
Ahnold is winning in Cal ee fornia and there is no truth
the rumor that LChic was fondled by the Ahnold!
