Science
Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

World Confidence in the USA economy isn't sliding ---- it's
slid!

truth? YES. Click "rshow55" for some things Lchic and I have
done and worked for on this thread.
Jorian319 - I've taken some time off to reread your
postings - so far only the early ones - pre 11,000 . Some of
them are very impressive - and not right wing either.
Sensible, balanced, constructive - and pissed at me for being
redundant, from time to time. With some (limited) reason - and
in the early postings - it seems to me that you do
listen to reason. Sorry I've got you so hostile, just now.
Of the first 20 jorian319 posts I read - I don't
recall one that dealt with missile defense.
I'll keep reading.

Bluestar:
You probably did NOT know this: ASKING questions on this
forum can get you labeled all kinds of things. The harder the
questions, the more vicious the labels.
Consigning posts to their rightful place, and cutting the
egos down to one size lower, and doing it consistently --
would get the ole' "Mutt-and-Jeff" schtik into a co-ordinated
attack mode.
Rshow55 has also been looking for fund$$$ for his "work" :
Watch his 'hints' at "staffed' efforts/organization etc. May
be NYT Forum (in indirect $ & this opportunity) is NOT
quite enough for this globally important work, even if you
have a "world asset."
Keep at it. You're making more than a dent (quite unlike
the 'regulars,' new or old).

subjects are interesting." -rshow55
Look, Robert, I don't know anything about Missile Defense
per se - maybe even less than you do.
You can stop looking now, because you're not going to find
it. I don't propound on subjects about which I know nothing...
unlike some.

Showalter - nothing you post could possibly lead mr
'Jorian' poster towards hostility ... my guess is he's a hack
who's paid to 'sit' here

[to jorian]You're Switching ....
lchic: It's a loss/weakness for the USA
economy
Didn't lchic say 'jorian' had also made the Dean's list
["ignore"] ? How come I see this back-and-forth then ?
"It got understood and exposed." May not be
'undrstood' by ALL, or "exposed" enough to notice that 'His
Majesty' has no clothes ! [her "His Majesty" :)].

More speculation on poster identification ?
