Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

Are you sure you're posting in the right forum? Your post
concerned missile defense. Aren't you aware that this is the
rshow/lchic decoy forum? Its purpose is to divert their
paranoid, repetitious, prolix, preposterous, pompous
rodomontade from real forums. It's been quite successful.
Don't spoil it, please. Set rshow and lchic to "Ignore".
Actually, I'm quite pleased to see somebody get back on
targe. I think that if everybody used the "Ignore List," we
could resume a real discussion of the issues. I've set rshow,
lchic and cantaab to "Ignore". It works wonderfully. The eye
barely pays heed to the "Ignore" notices; twenty or thirty of
these valueless posts can be skimmed by in a trice. Let's get
back on track.
Nice posts, though I don't warrant I agree with them.

Esso / Exxon / 'the tiger in your tank'
There are estimated to be 5,000 tigers (one for every person
attending the Howard DEAN (who is he?) Speech in Maddison)
in the USA --
how can they be expected to appreciate the
built in dangers of the less tangible MD system?
Absolutely NOTHING to do with MD , suitable fore another
dumpster.

(> sorry mate - there's NO debate)
What's there to debate ? What 's there in posts remotely
significant or so far OFF-topic to worth a debate.
Lot better this way [being on "ignore"]. Leaves me free to
comment, without having to worry about a response.
B It got understood and exposed.

Moore on America ___ story time ' ... The
fear drug works like this: you are repeatedly told that bad,
scary people are going to kill you, so place all your trust
in us,
..where there are only going to be a few rich
people, and you are not going to be one of them. '
Yet another OFF-topic, totally irrelevant post. Following
the pied piper.
This Forum NOT a dumpster for anything you drag in here.

I set you to "Ignore" because I tired of your constant
battles with other posters over perceived insults. You should
ask yourself why you so often get into flame wars with other
posters. You often do post on-topic posts, which I've found
informative, but more often than not of late your posts have
devolved into prickly attacks against what you deem personal
attacks against you. It became tiresome to me.

Your choice.
You're NOT obliged to read anything on any Forum, you know.
You can scroll by. I do that too.
Some like to put their head in the sand. Some scroll by.
Some take their time to visit with other posters, and then
whine. Some would have nothing to do with such things. To each
his/her own.
Again, your choice !

your preference !
Immaterial to me.
