Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a
nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a
"Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed
considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense
initiatives more successful? Can such an application of
science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable,
necessary or impossible?

A North Korean cargo ship and its 26 crew have been held in
Australia since last month on charges stemming from the
alleged narcotics deal involving 50kg of pure heroin.
"This is part of Washington's moves to increase the
international pressure on the DPRK (North Korea)," an unnamed
North Korean foreign ministry spokesman told state-run Korean
Central News Agency.
"The DPRK government has consistently been opposed to the
misuse and smuggling of drugs and has nothing to do with the
recent case."
The North's official claimed that both the US and
Australian governments "are now engrossed in the false
propaganda"

North Korea states that it has 100 ICBMs armed with nuclear
weapons. It threatens our cities and citizens. Is this
sufficent reason for a missile defense system? Personally, I
believe a regime change is in order. I don't believe that
either Japan or China or South Korea wants a plain of nuclear
glass on their border.
Time for Kim to join Saddam on the ash heap of history.

China saw 'health expenditure' as a cost, rather than a
necessary service. It took funding from health over past 20
years. (Funding went to 'commerce' - people had no value)
China - belatedly - has said it will treat SARS cases for
free.
The people of China have completely lost faith in their
non-truthful tyranical monolithic 'party'.

Ro_tten thanks for your question
Note may last post on NK was a follow-up to previous post.
Giving a viewpoint with a response from NK to that media
viewpoint.
If North Korean Government are raising funds via the sale
of drugs into Australia - then that country is morally bereft,
a drug terrorist.
-------
Burma - police on Thai border traffic drugs into Thailand.
Thai police 'shoot' drug dealers. Thai s can't clean up their
country unless Burma acts.

Countries that have no moral code
That have nuclear weapons
are nuclear-time-bombs waiting to blow ?!?
__________
Nuclear scientists have concerns in countries without
standards that the materials are stolen, are in the hands of
terrorists.
Nuclear materials - Iraq - have been stolen from sites
previously monitored by UN. The question is where is it, and
how will it be used?

of sewage ... consequently urine & solids may go into the
sewage ---- but --- my_China_dolls tell, that the paper that
wipes, is posted into a separate container.
