    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

The limitations of your sight are evident, whackorob. But thanks for highlighting the obvious.

Ouch, Rob. My eyes still hurt after a glance at that ugly picture of yourself on your site. What kind of a deranged narcissist thinks the visage of a crosseyed punk, rendered in faux shades makes for good viewing? Oh that's right - the same kind of deranged punk who thinks the pentagon bombed itself, the CIA blew up the fed building in OKC, and all the other garbage on that site. Funny, though - you seem to have missed the CHEMTRAIL KONSPIRACY, idiot.

"Quae cum ita sunt" Caesar's Gallic Commentaries

Jorian139:

When I was a kid, we played a game called "Buck Buck". Bill Cosby immortalized this game with the invention of his friend Fat Albert. When the weight of the opposing team reached a level where you could not continue, (thus the inclusion of a Fat Albert on your team), you would surrender and say "No More On!"

Robert and his synchophants have reached that point. Name calling has replaced judicious discourse. They pray for car bombings and civilian causalties to prove their point. It ain't our way. I do hope they will contemplate moving to Syria, North Korea, or Cuba where they can savor the fruits of paradise!

As for me, I stand at your side and shout "No More Ons!!!"

It is the business of the future to be dangerous...The major advances in civilization are processes that all but wreck the societies in which they occur.

Question:

In the movie "Black Hawk Down" the American Flags on the soldiers uniforms are all backwards.

WHY?
