    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

"...Australians are being warned by forecasters that the ME situation could boil over into a third world war!..."

Are those Austrailians just now being told that? Gosh. Most of the rest of the western world has known that for centuries. Current events in the ME have been prohecied in Jewish and Christian scripture for a couple of thousand years along with the ultimate outcome. Looks to me like this is it, darlin'.

lchic:

You seem to relish the idea of WWIII. What a fool. God forbid the day that occurs.

I can assure you that your ilk won't survive WWIII. You haven't the backbone to survive. You think that killing babies is okay. Heck you can't even call suicide bombers the terrorists that they are.

If you can't even stand the NYTimes because it doesn't support baby killing then maybe you could go to hell! Of course, posting there means having your hands chained to a post while little devil helpers in burnooses flay your back with fiery whips.

GI you and mAzzA are in drivel mode!

The current escalation in the Middle East co-insides with American Foreign Policy failure since Bush came to power.

The concern re a WEAK-BUSH letting it get further out of control to a point where the issue has active world status has been expressed by the Australian professional Military (forcasters).

GI - The 'good book' wasn't even on the table!
But what is the good book - is it history, or, a scewed-political-interpretation of the history. Religious history is considered the latter.

lchic:

To quote that Great American philosopher Anon, "Liar! Liar! Pants on fire!" The intifada began in the waning days of the Clinton Administration. FACT! Your communist short term memory is as weak as your logic and intellect. FACT!

Advice: When tossing the honey bucket overboard you should first check which way the wind is blowing! Otherwise you'll have more than egg on your face.

You keep repeating the gibberish and you'll get no where.
