    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

The truth about 'the market place issue' is not important for public perception. Besides, shouldn't it be expected from a durty small dicator who is a professional street-fighter for all of his life?

Those who designed that war haven't seen a war other then on a computer screens.

Alex - Market place response reads as if (1) you believe 'your home-team' the USA - yet (2)may also be a cynical take!

Pausing the warblog, for now. (21March) Dear readers:
I've been asked to suspend my war blogging for awhile.
But I don't want let you down -- I'm chronicling the events of my war experiences, the same as I always have, and hope to come to agreement with CNN in the near future to make them available to you in some shape or form, perhaps on this site.
In the meantime, thanks for participating in this remarkable forum. It's been a remarkable experience to be your witness here.

Who's running America?

Who and What are the NeoCons?

Can we CV their route to the top?

Did they climb the ONE ladder - or more?

Did they get the same viewpoint - or varied?

Why are they so unrepresentative a sector of a cross-section of the composition of the USA population?
