    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Sapphire

    The ancients from the land of Persia believed very strongly that our planet Earth; a rotund ball has its resting place on a giant sapphire. The prized ones among the gemstone Sapphire are deep blue in colour and it was this colour, which led the ancients to believe that vast sky above us its colour.

Benefits of Sapphire :

  • It's said to give peace of mind, tranquillity, happiness and spiritual enlightenment
  • A ring with a sapphire stone was alleged to bring wisdom and compassion to its owner. When disaster was near, the stone took on a chalky appearance, which lasted until the danger passed.
