    Missile Defense

Technology has always found its greatest consumer in a nation's war and defense efforts. Since the last attempts at a "Star Wars" defense system, has technology changed considerably enough to make the latest Missile Defense initiatives more successful? Can such an application of science be successful? Is a militarized space inevitable, necessary or impossible?

Read Debates, a new Web-only feature culled from Readers' Opinions, published every Thursday.

Now we follow a rule made popular by Bismark, "the rule of Blood and Iron."
For Good or Evil, it is the USA who now has the lead in Blood and Iron.

NIXON tapes are out Nixon wanted to NUKE 'EM

Henry K saw there were implications

Nixon just wanted to 'hit 'em' with the biggest thing he'd got!

Are there still 'leaders' like this around?
