    Missile Defense

Russian military leaders have expressed concern about US plans for a national missile defense system. Will defense technology be limited by possibilities for a strategic imbalance? Is this just SDI all over again?

I wonder what would be a British response if Serbia starts arming and supporting the IRA in a similar way?

"Instead of serving as reason for the withdrawal of indictments against the political and military leadership of the Serbs, these documents languish somewhere in the basements of the Hague prosecutor's office while witch-hunts against us are stepped up as if the misdeeds were a matter of policy instead of concurrent developments of civil war. Of no use to us is the admission by those who persecute us that they do so for reasons of political expediency instead of legal justification.

Here at home, both domestic and foreign factors forget, for political reasons, even Your appeals for the establishment of peace, preservation of humane attitude, the protection of religious buildings so it is understandable that they have also forgotten my orders for the increased protection of religious buildings, issued and published in 1993 when there were still no indictments.

We believe that there exist in the West, both among the general public and among statesmen, people of good intentions who are misinformed (Mrs. Pack may be one of them) but we hopefully expect the emergence of a great statesmen who will end this suffering in this region and insist that the truth be established and respected. If the documents in The Hague's possession were to be published and available to everyone, a revolution would occur such as is necessary for the correction of injustice and the establishment of stable and permanent solutions.

Until this happens, all we can do is endure because there is no possibility of fighting for the truth and justice in some other way. Previously they denied our right to self-defense and now they are eliminating our ability to defend ourselves, too, and we depend to the greatest extent on factors that are inclined neither towards us nor the truth. I personally endure and bear the full burden of the enormous injustice being inflicted upon our people and now upon our Church. The magnitude of this injustice is known only to God, who is merciful towards us and who will see to it that injustice is corrected. And the people will persevere not because someone has convinced them to do so but because they have no other choice.

I beg you, Your Holiness, to accept my explanations and receive my expressions of deepest love and respect of a son /of the Church/.

    /signed/ Yours, Radovan Karadzic

The Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Korea and Vietnam, the Iraq and Yugoslavia - those are significant enough reasons to be concern over the rule of the "benevolent" Empire of USA.

THE CORRUPTED WEB NATO HAS WOVEN NATO is prepared and ready to insert over 3000 soldiers into the boiling cauldron known as Macedonia. Leaders insist that this deployment will ensure tranquility and stability in an otherwise fractious land. However NATO will not roll in until the so-called Albanian Rebels, and the representatives of the Macedonian government, come to a cease-fire agreement.
