    Missile Defense

Russian military leaders have expressed concern about US plans for a national missile defense system. Will defense technology be limited by possibilities for a strategic imbalance? Is this just SDI all over again?

That's a question that the press should look at -- but in America, the press is very, very corrupt -- in the sense that the "culture of lying" has gone on a long time -- and the CIA, and political usages all around, have adapted so that the most basic things can never be checked, within the rules.

Now, with the internet, that could be fixed, given the will.

It isn't just an American problem. If the nation states of Europe, Eurasia, and Asia (every one of which has plenty of its own problems, too) took the trouble to staff the questions that need to be answered to assure their reasonable safety, and decency -- then the problems would work out - step by step -- fairly cleanly.

Am I wrong that the Bush family has been deeply involved in an essentially NAZI conspiracy, and much involved (from Prescott Bush on) in the money laundering and money flows of it? Perhaps I am wrong. But I believe that enough fits so that staffs of nation states should devote enough effort to find out.

Has the current Republican party been subverted by "a vast right wing conspiracy" funded by the group of people who have controlled US nuclear policy since the 1950's, with a huge flow of unaudited funds under their control? Maybe not, but enough fits so that staffs of nation states, including governments and journalistic organizations, should devote the resources needed to find out.

For the safety of us all.

We can have peace. We can have much better lives for human beings, and a more beautiful planet.

But some messes have to be cleaned up.

gisterme , containment was taken to justify much too much, and, as practiced, was a massive, brutal fraud on the American people, and the whole world.

People have a right to have the Cold War end -- which means those excesses -- which you in large part personify -- need to be cleaned up.

People should form their own judgemeents about this, I feel -- and to do so, they should read what you've written here, in the context you've written it, from the top.

I've been revolted, very often, but no doubt other people will have other views.

I've also had a lot to respect -- and life is complex, and I have a lot of respect for Kissinger and Negroponte, too.

But messes should be fixed.
