    Missile Defense

Russian military leaders have expressed concern about US plans for a national missile defense system. Will defense technology be limited by possibilities for a strategic imbalance? Is this just SDI all over again?

The idea of sending 'money' to needy countries sounds good ... the question is

    Who gets the money ?
The answer i read was that only about 20% of the money hits the intended target.

An aid solution is to put something tangible into a country.

The nuclear scientists in Russia - send them to Harvard for a business course.
The Yugoslavs - build them a bridge (or two, or three, or four).
The sad reality has been the diversion of foreign aid into the Swiss Bank Accounts of greedy international identities.

Soros sends the checks directly to the scientists. No governments are involved.

And businessmen are born, not made.

And the money doesn't stay in Switzerland for long. It ends up in the US stock market.

Instead, lets continue with the SOP of the pentagon: spend more money, waste money, then when the project is over budget, ask for more money.

Bwsh & Puting meet soon ... a fly on the wall wouldn't see it all ... would have to climb inside their heads to monitor nuances of thinking ... what will they say, how will they think .. what will each want to 'win-win' from this win-dow of convergence ?

If the money ends up back in America, building America ... then America can afford to 'give' generously.

How can you say Business-Men are born not made ... isn't business a process, and don't people have to learn processes, understand them, and know how to move through a process sucessfully?

How do you define business, is it more than commerce ?

Winning processes may offer competitive advantage to give a 'born' businessman ... the process may have been started by the family prior to his birth.

The winning process may be devised by a born business man .. some strategies reap rewards.

Note: most men are born, women too, they in turn can excel at business.
