We have no chance against these people unless we are willing to wage total war against them.

At a time when Americans his age worry about making the football team, passing a math exam or getting a date for Saturday night, Mohammed bin Laden spends his days moving furtively through desolate regions of Afghanistan, assault rifle in hand.

He is the 19-year-old son of Osama bin Laden, prime suspect in the horrific Sept. 11 attacks on New York and Washington that left thousands dead.

And he is reportedly being groomed to play a key role in his father's far-reaching terrorist organization, al Qaeda.

The second-eldest of 17 children by four wives, he has been described as shy, deeply devout, adoring of his father and committed to his radical ideology.
